Local Features Within Easy Walking Distance

Parks


The downtown Vancouver core is plush with great parks and several are located right along the beach front area across the street from our apartments. Right in front of our building, you’ll find Sunset Beach Park, with a grassy area and sandy beach. Walk north along the pathway to find Alexandra Park and English Bay Beach Park, both located near the Inukshuk landmark, as well as Morton Park just a few steps further north up the beach-side path. The incredible Stanley Park is about 10 minutes away.

Restaurants


Beach Apartments is just a couple of blocks from the bustling intersection of Denman and Davies Streets, offering a great selection of restaurants and coffee shops. Any of downtown best restaurants, casual eateries and coffee houses are within walking distance or short drive, depending on your footwear!

Transportation


Catch a local bus, hop on the False Creek Ferry or simply walk anywhere in the downtown area with easy access to transportation routes outside Beach Apartments. Commuting is easy with regular bus route service and a host of amenities including grocery stores, within walking distance. You can also catch the Canada Line Skytrain at Yaletown-Roundhouse Station for rapid transit access to Richmond/YVR, the downtown waterfront, and communities along the length of Cambie Street.

Shopping


Savour the good feeling that comes with supporting small businesses with a variety of friendly boutiques, vintage stores, bookstores and wine shops to choose from in Davie Village neighbourhood. Also close to the downtown retail district, you’ll have no trouble adding to your wardrobe, sprucing up your apartment or finding anything else you desire.

Eateries, Pubs and Coffee Houses


There’s no better place than a Beach Avenue patio on a sunny Vancouver day. You can even take a trip around the world, in a culinary sense, with a great selection of multi-cultural cafes and eateries. Cosy coffee shops are easy to find, as are casual dinner spots including Cactus Club and The Boathouse. Downtown fine dining restaurants are just a quick car ride, taxi ride, or ferry ride away.

Schools


The West End is great place to raise kids – with endless parks, plenty of recreational opportunities, good schools and a great community feel, the West End is proud to be an accepting, family-friendly neighbourhood. Lord Roberts Elementary School is about a five-minute drive from our apartments, or 10-minutes by bus, which departs every nine minutes during the day.

Entertainment


One of the downtown core’s best areas for entertainment, the dynamic West End is home to countless clubs, pubs, lounges and venues. The Davie Village neighbourhood is internationally known as one of the best neighbourhood in Canada, and is proudly one of Vancouver’s most LBGTQ-friendly areas.
